Annnnnndd we’re sorta back. Scuba linked up with the Nike SB crew and designed an SB Dunk around his Pistachio Romeo (shout out Mau for knocking that color out the park), along with inspiration from his Ultradynamico tires, and Kool Stop pads.

He was riding the Verdugo’s 5 days a week during the ‘rona and even though that was 4 years ago and he all but quit riding on me (new parents, amirite) for some damn reason he chose to have the script “Verdugo Mountains” on the inside tongue. Couldn’t put somewhere fun like Elysian Park or Debs Park, nope, had to put Verdugos.

So a crew of some of the usuals, Scuba, Louie, Mackey, Mack (who moved here after we made bad videos), Lee (Louie’s Converse TM and all round rad guy) and our star athlete, professional skater, Carlos Ribeiro. Carlos didn’t know what was up but you can watch and see where that goes. What a great guy to suffer with us.

Without a doubt we can say this is the first time someone has skated on top of the Verdugo’s. Will it be the last?
